He has a strong brand presence and I haven't been treating him fairly by rejecting his mainstream-ness. His brand overpowers his message to me and I've been skeptical of this "social guru" label so I have never actually listened to his content. Glad I gave him a go because it's relevant to my struggle around self censorship and mental constipation. One thing I like doing is reading the comment sections on videos. I realised how common this is. and it's exactly the mental bug Gary goes to war against.  Aside from Liz Gilbert I thought Gary Vee is overrated but I haven't given any of them a fair chance. ----- ok this [[don't hit pause]] streak is exactly the core of gary vee's message: just do it. start. don't wait. it's a worldwide disease.
